ONYX is conservatively financed, having very little corporate or asset-level debt, and is privately owned. This means that we are not constrained by the short-term needs of any global stock market.

ONYX was born in Thailand in 1965 as the Siam Lodge Group and evolved into Amari Hotels and Resorts in 1992. We have lived through numerous crises including SARS, the Tsunami, and various forms of political unrest.
